Dr Tara Thambimuthu
Owner & General Practitioner
Tara completed a Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University in 2013. She completed her early training in the Northern Territory and Lismore before joining the practice in 2018. She became a partner in 2019.
Tara has a keen interest in women’s health including IUD insertion and can provide shared-care during pregnancy. She is also interested in skin cancer medicine and children’s health.
Tara enjoys bushwalking, paddleboarding and yoga.
Dr Christopher Wee
Owner & General Practitioner
Chris graduated from Flinders University in 2014 with a Doctor of Medicine. He worked as a medical officer at the Royal Darwin Hospital and Lismore Base Hospital.
Chris has worked at the Aboriginal Health Services in Ballina and Casino. He is also interested in skin cancer medicine, child and adolescent health.
He enjoys running, woodworking & keeps native bees.


Dr Justin Dryden
General Practitioner
Justin graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School with Deans list of excellence.
​Prior to his career in medicine he completed a BSc in Mathematics & Physics at UNSW. He served for close to ten years as an Australian Army officer and graduate of military college Duntroon.
​
Justin joined Evans Head Medical Centre in 2022. He has a passion for all aspects of medicine.

Dr Miranda Cumming
General Practitioner
Miranda is a dedicated general practitioner who has returned to Evans Head Medical Centre to continue her career in comprehensive patient care.
Recently attaining her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in August 2024, she is now consulting as an independent GP.
Miranda has a special interest in chronic disease management, paediatrics, adolescent health & skin cancer care. Known for her excellent rapport with patients, Miranda takes a holistic approach to ensure the best outcomes for individuals & families.


Dr Cindy De Villiers
General Practitioner
Cindy is an experienced General Practitioner who has worked in urban and rural hospitals and general practices in New Zealand and Australia for the last 30 years. Cindy graduated from Stellenbosch University, South Africa in 1990 and obtained her fellowship in General Practice in New Zealand in 2010.
Cindy has a special interest in Integrative Medicine and health optimisation and its application in general practice medicine.
When not working in Australia, Cindy lives in Nelson with her family and dogs. She enjoys training for life and the great outdoors.
Dr Nazgol Partovi
Dr. Nazgol is a dedicated physician who graduated from medical school in Iran. Since then, she has gained valuable experience working in both urban and rural hospitals and clinics. Dr. Nazgol works full-time and has made a long-term commitment to the practice. She is deeply committed to building warm, trusting relationships with her patients and always strives to provide them with the highest standard of care.
She has a strong interest in surgery, dermatological procedures, and the management of chronic diseases. Her compassionate approach, combined with her medical expertise, allows her to treat patients with both skill and empathy.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Nazgol enjoys spending quality time with her family and adventure. She is always curious and open to discovering new things, both personally and professionally.


Dr Paul Goodridge
General Practitioner
Dr Paul Goodridge grew up in Brisbane and completed his medical school training at Flinders University Adelaide, before completing his GP training in Sydney.
He currently lives between Australia and Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dr Goodridge has an interest in sports medicine, paediatrics, men’s health and travel medicine.
When not working, you’ll find him at the beach surfing or hiking up the closest mountain he can find.
Dr Kyla Garft
Senior General Practice Registrar
Kyla is a dedicated and approachable GP registrar with over 10 years of medical experience. She graduated from Monash University and values a holistic approach to healthcare, supporting patients through all stages of life.
Having grown up in the Northern Rivers, Kyla has a strong understanding of the unique health challenges of the area. Her special interests include travel and adventure medicine, youth medicine, preventive health and wellness, women’s and LGBTQIA+ health, and ophthalmology. She is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care with a practical and compassionate approach.
Outside of work, Kyla enjoys exploring the outdoors, freediving, and caring for her dog, plants, and fish.


Dr Martina Girardi
Senior General Practice Registrar
Martina graduated with her Doctor of Medicine from Griffith University in 2020 and went on to work at the Caboolture Hospital and at the Logan Hospital before starting her training in General Practice.

With ​her caring and thoughtful nature, attention to detail and considerate approach, Martina enjoys all aspects of general practice, in particular Women’s Health, Pregnancy Care and Mental Health.
​
Outside of work, Martina enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr Alice Cheape
Senior General Practice Registrar
Alice graduated from medical school in Scotland in 2017. She has a diverse range of clinical experience from the UK and Australia. She relocated to the region in 2021 and has worked in numerous medical specialties in Byron Central Hospital and in emergency at Lismore Base Hospital.

Alice also has a keen interest in dermatology and skin cancer medicine and has co-authored research articles in prominent medical journals including Australian Doctor. She is a senior general practice registrar and also works two days per week at Bay Medical Centre in Byron.
​
When not working, Alice enjoys swimming, surfing and climbing.


Dr Haydn Dodds
Senior General Practice Registrar
Dr Haydn Dodds is a GP Registrar with a passion for quality, personalised care.
Dr Dodds has a broad clinical background and after completing his medical degree on the Gold Coast he chose to start his career out in the Northern Territory.
After two years in the Top End, he returned to work at the Princess Alexandra, Queensland’s largest surgical hospital.
Throughout his varied experiences, Dr Dodds has acquired a broad skill set and enjoys the breadth of General Practice.
He has a particular interest in Orthopaedics, Men’s Health and Paediatrics.
He welcomes patients of all backgrounds to work with him in caring for their health.
Dr Noara Jassim
Noara is a dedicated general practice registrar who joined Evans Head Medical Centre in August 2023. She is currently completing her extended skills term.
Noara has a special interest in menopause and menopausal hormone therapies. Known for her thoroughness and caring nature, Noara takes an individual holistic approach to patient care.
